🎓 Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.08.2026)
1. Educational Qualification
- 🔹 Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from a recognized University/Institution.
- 🔹 Candidates appearing in their final year exams are also eligible to apply for the Preliminary Exam.
- 🔹 Candidates with professional/technical qualifications (like B.E., B.Tech, MBBS) recognized by the government are also eligible.
2. Age Limit
Candidate must be between 21 and 32 Years as on 1st August 2026.

⚔️ Selection Process
The Civil Services Examination consists of two successive stages:
- Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination: Objective Type (Multiple Choice).
- Paper I: General Studies (200 Marks) – Merit Counting.
- Paper II: CSAT (200 Marks) – Qualifying (33% required).
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd marks deducted for wrong answers.
- Civil Services (Main) Examination:
- Written Examination (9 Papers, Conventional Essay Type).
- Personality Test (Interview) – 275 Marks.

📝 How to Apply Online?

- OTR Registration: Candidates must first register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform. If already registered, proceed to login.
- Login using Email/Phone/OTR ID and OTP.
- Go to “Latest Notifications” and select “Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2026”.
- Fill in Part-I and Part-II of the application form carefully.
- Upload scanned Photograph, Signature, and Photo ID Card (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN, etc.).
- Pay the application fee (if applicable).
- Select your preferred Exam Centre.
- Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
