State Bank of India (SBI), Central Recruitment & Promotion Department, Mumbai, has released Advertisement No. CRPD/RS/2025-26/23. The bank invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens (Retired Officials of SBI, other PSBs, and RRBs) for the engagement of Financial Literacy Centre (FLC) Counsellors and FLC Directors on a contractual basis. A total of 257 vacancies are available across various circles including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Guwahati, and others. The engagement period is initially for 1-2 years, renewable up to the age of 65 years. ✅ Eligibility Criteria (As on 31.01.2026)
- 🎂 Age Limit:
- Minimum: 60 Years
- Maximum: 63 Years
- Candidates must be born between 01.02.1963 and 31.01.1966 (both days inclusive).
- 🎓 Qualification & Experience:
- FLC Counsellors: Retired Officers (Scale-I to IV) from SBI/Other PSBs/RRBs. (Retired Clerical staff of SBI may be considered if officers are not available).
- FLC Directors: Retired Officers (Scale-III & IV) from SBI/Other PSBs/RRBs.
- Should have a good track record and be in good health.
- Must possess a Smart Mobile Phone and have computer knowledge.
- 📍 Other Conditions: No CBI/Law enforcement cases should be pending against the official.
⚖️ Selection Process
- 📌 Shortlisting: A Shortlisting Committee will decide the parameters to shortlist candidates. Mere fulfilling minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview.
- 🗣️ Interview: The interview will carry 100 Marks. Candidates will be ranked based on interview scores.
- 📋 Merit List: Circle-wise and Category-wise merit lists will be drawn. If marks are tied, the older candidate gets preference.
