Government of India, Ministry of Defence, Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) Station HQ (ECHC Cell) Kolkata has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of Medical, Para-Medical, and Non-Medical staff on a contractual basis. Applications are invited for 42 vacancies across various ECHS Polyclinics (Kolkata, Salt Lake, Howrah, and Baruipur). Positions include Medical Officer, Dental Officer, Pharmacist, Lab Tech, Clerk, Driver, Peon, Safaiwala, and Chowkidar. Both Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Civilian candidates can apply. Physiotherapist	01	• Diploma / Class 1 Physiotherapy Course. • Min 05 years work experience.	₹ 36,500/-
DEO / Clerk	01	• Graduate / Class-1 Clerical Trade. • Min 05 years work experience.	₹ 29,200/-
Driver	03	• Class 8th Pass. • Civil Driving License (LMV). • Min 05 years work experience.	₹ 25,600/-
Female Attendant	04	• Literate. • Min 05 years experience in Civil/Army Health institutions.	₹ 21,800/-

🎂 Age Limit (As on 01 April 2026)

Candidates should not have completed the following age limits:

• For Medical Specialist/Gynecologist: 68 Years
• For Medical Officer: 66 Years
• For Dental Officer: 63 Years
• For Para-Medical Staff (Lab Tech, Pharmacist, Nursing Asst, etc.): 56 Years
• For Non-Medical Staff (Driver, Clerk, Peon, etc.): 53 Years

⚔️ Selection Process

• 📌 Screening: Applications will be scrutinized for eligibility.
• 📌 Interview: Candidates meeting Qualitative Requirements (QRs) will be called for an interview.
• 📌 Document Verification: Original certificates to be produced during the interview.
• 📌 Merit List: Final selection based on performance in the interview and experience.
