State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has issued a significant notification (Notice/Corrigendum dated 13-02-2026) regarding the reopening of online applications for multiple recruitment cycles. Most notably, applications for 1052 posts of Constable (Unarmed Branch) and 663 posts of Constable (Armed Branch) are now live again. Additionally, the Govt. of Assam has enhanced the upper age limit by 1 year for unreserved categories. The recruitment consists of three competitive phases:
- Phase I: PST & PET: Physical efficiency test involving 3200m race (Male) and 1600m race (Female), Long Jump, and Chin-ups (AB Male only).
- Phase II: Written Test: 100 Questions (50 Marks). Level: Class IX & X. Subject: Arithmetic, English, Reasoning, Assam History, GK.
- Phase III: Oral / Viva-Voce: Maximum 5 Marks.
