🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Qualification
1. Educational Qualification (As on 29.03.2026):
- ✅ PET Mandatory: Candidate MUST have appeared in UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and hold a valid positive scorecard.
- ✅ Technical Qualification: Must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) from a recognized institution.
- ✅ Registration: Must be registered as a Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council, Uttar Pradesh.
2. Preferential Qualification (Not Mandatory):
- 🔸 Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of 2 years, OR
- 🔸 Obtained an NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
3. Age Limit (As on 01.07.2026):
- 👉 Minimum Age: 18 Years
- 👉 Maximum Age: 40 Years
- (Must be born between 02-July-1986 and 01-July-2008).

🛑 Negative Marking: There is a penalty for wrong answers. 1/4th (25% or 0.25 marks) will be deducted for every incorrect response.

- ✅ Stage 1 – Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Mains Exam strictly based on their UPSSSC PET-2025 normalized scores. (Usually, candidates equal to 15 times the number of vacancies are called).
- ✅ Stage 2 – Main Written Exam: Objective type exam of 100 marks (as detailed in the syllabus table above).
- ✅ Stage 3 – Document Verification (DV): Checking of D.Pharma mark sheets, UP Pharmacy Council Registration, Caste, and Domicile certificates.
- ✅ Stage 4 – Medical Examination: Final health fitness clearance.
