Job Objective: The incumbent is primarily responsible for ensuring the absolute well-being of all property and valuables belonging to the County Engineering department, and must swiftly inform management of any problems, discrepancies, or security breaches.

- 🔦 Security Rounds: Making routine and thorough security rounds throughout the property. This includes explicitly ensuring that the correct lights are turned on or off, and verifying that all doors, windows, and department trucks are securely locked.
- ⚠️ Hazard Monitoring: Actively monitoring the entire area for potential hazards, acts of vandalism, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
- 📞 Communication Relays: Receiving, accurately recording, and promptly relaying necessary and critical information via telephone and/or two-way radio.
- 🧹 General Maintenance: Performing various general maintenance duties across the facility as required and needed by the department.
