Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Karnal (Haryana) has issued an Employment Notice for the recruitment of 28 posts of Stenographer Grade-III (English). These positions are on a purely Adhoc basis for a period of six months or until regular appointments are made. Eligible candidates possessing a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree can apply offline. 🎓 Qualification & Selection Process
1. Educational Qualification
- ✅ Degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A) OR Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or equivalent thereto from a recognized university.
- ✅ Must have proficiency in the operation of Computers (Word Processing and Spreadsheets).
2. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)
- 🎂 Minimum: 18 Years
- 🎂 Maximum: 42 Years
- Relaxation for reserved categories as per Haryana Govt Instructions.
3. Mode of Selection
The candidate shall have to pass a test comprising:
- 🖊️ English Shorthand Test: Speed of 80 W.P.M.
- ⌨️ Transcription: Speed of 20 W.P.M. on Computer.
- 💻 Computer Proficiency Test: Qualifying in nature (Word Processing & Spreadsheets).
- Note: Marks of Computer Proficiency Test will not be counted towards the final merit.
