Supreme Court of India (Recruitment Cell) has released Advertisement No. F.21(LC)/2026-SC(RC) dated 20.01.2026. Online applications are invited for the engagement of approximately 90 Law Clerks-cum-Research Associates on a short-term contractual assignment for the term 2026-2027. This is a prestigious opportunity for Law Graduates and Final Year Law Students to work in the Apex Court. The selection process involves a Written Test and Interview. A. Education Qualification

• ✅ Law Graduate: Bachelor Degree in Law (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any School/College/University/Institution recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• ✅ Final Year Students: Candidates studying in the 5th year of 5-Year Integrated Law Course OR 3rd year of 3-Year Law Course are also eligible (Subject to acquiring qualification before assignment).
• ✅ Skills Required: Research and analytical skills, writing abilities, and knowledge of computers (retrieval from e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw etc.).

B. Age Limit (As on 07.02.2026)

• 🔹 Minimum Age: 20 Years
• 🔹 Maximum Age: 32 Years

• 📌 Part I – Multiple Choice Based Questions: Testing ability to understand/apply law & comprehension skills. (Online Mode)
• 📌 Part II – Subjective Written Test: Covering writing and analytical skills. (Pen-Paper Mode)
• 📌 Part III – Interview: Personal Interview.
• 🗓️ Written Exam Date: 07.03.2026 (Both Part I & Part II on same day).
• 📍 Exam Centers: 23 Cities across India (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, etc.).
