📚 1. Educational Qualification (शैक्षणिक योग्यता)

Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree (either 3-year or 5-year integrated course) from a University/Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI).

• Candidates currently in their final year of LLB are generally NOT eligible unless they acquire the final degree on or before the last date of application.

👨‍🦳 2. Age Limit (उम्र सीमा)

The age of the applicant is strictly calculated as per the cut-off date mentioned in the detailed notification (usually 01st August of the preceding/current year).

The BPSC Judicial Services Examination is renowned for its rigor. It is conducted in three successive stages:

📝 Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (250 Marks)

The Prelims consists of two objective-type (MCQ) papers. It serves as a screening test. The marks scored here are not counted in the final merit list.

🖋️ Stage 2: Main Examination (Subjective/Written)

The Mains exam consists of Compulsory papers and Optional papers (candidates must choose any 3 out of 5 optional law subjects).

🗣️ Stage 3: Personal Interview (Viva-Voce)

Candidates qualifying the Mains will be called for an interview worth 100 Marks. Candidates must score a minimum of 35% in the interview to be considered for the final merit list.
