CSIR – Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI), New Delhi, a premier research laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), has released Advertisement No. 02/PC/Non-Tech-2026. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Security Assistant / Watch & Ward Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) on a direct recruitment basis. 🎓 Qualification & Age Limit
1. Junior Hindi Translator (Post Code A)
- ✅ Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject.
- ✅ OR Master’s Degree in any subject with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a subject.
- ✅ AND Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Translation from Hindi to English & vice versa OR 2 Years Experience.
- 🔹 Max Age: 30 Years
2. Security Assistant (Post Code B)
- ✅ Ex-Servicemen / JCO in Army or equivalent in Paramilitary Forces.
- ✅ Minimum 5 Years Experience in security work.
- 🔹 Max Age: 28 Years (Relaxation as per Govt rules for Ex-SM).
3. Multi-Tasking Staff (Post Code C)
- ✅ Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- 🔹 Max Age: 25 Years
* Age Relaxation: OBC-NCL (3 Years), PwBD (10 Years), Ex-Servicemen (3 Years after deduction of service), Widows/Divorced Women (Up to 35/40 Years).
⚔️ Selection Process
- 📌 Junior Hindi Translator: Written Exam (Paper I & Paper II). Paper II evaluated only if Paper I threshold met.
- 📌 Security Assistant: Physical & Personality Assessment Test (Qualifying) + Competitive Written Exam.
- 📌 Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Trade Test (Qualifying) + Competitive Written Exam.
📚 Exam Pattern for MTS (Written):
Paper-I (Mental Ability Test): 100 Qs | No Negative Marking.
Paper-II (General Awareness & English): 50 Qs each | Negative Marking applies.
