Institute for Systems Studies and Analyses (ISSA), a premier laboratory under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has released an official notification (Advt. No. ISSA/HRD/Apprentice/2026/01). Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the engagement of Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices for a period of one year.
Candidates who have passed their qualifying exams in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible to apply. The selection will be purely based on Merit (Marks obtained in Degree/Diploma). Interested candidates must send their scanned application form via email by 27th February 2026.

📜 Eligibility Conditions
- 🎓 Year of Passing: Candidates who have passed their qualifying degree/diploma in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 are ONLY eligible to apply.
- ❌ Experience: Candidates with prior apprenticeship training or work experience of one year or more are NOT eligible.
- 📝 NATS Registration: Mandatory registration on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal (nats.education.gov.in) is required before applying.
- 📚 Course Type: Only Regular/Full-Time candidates can apply. Distance education degrees are not accepted.
⚖️ Selection Methodology
- Shortlisting: Selection will be strictly based on the Marks/Percentage obtained in the Qualifying Examination (Degree/Diploma).
- Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared category-wise (General/SC/ST/OBC/PwD).
- Board Review: A board constituted by the Director ISSA will review applications and shortlist candidates.
- Offer Letter: Selected candidates will be informed via Email Only.
