Vehicle Research and Development Organization (VRDE), Ahmednagar (now Ahilyanagar), a premier laboratory under the aegis of DRDO, Ministry of Defence, has announced a Walk-in Interview notification for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellows (JRF). Applications are invited from young and meritorious Indian nationals for 10 vacancies in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering disciplines. Selected candidates will work on advanced mobility systems, combat systems, and UAV engines. The fellowship carries a monthly stipend of ₹ 37,000/- plus HRA. 🎓 Educational Qualification & Age Limit

1. Education (As on Date of Interview):

• ✅ B.E / B.Tech in First Division with a Valid GATE Score (Year 2023, 2024 & 2025 only).
• — OR —
• ✅ M.E / M.Tech in First Division at both Graduate and Post-Graduate levels.

2. Age Limit (As on Date of Interview):

• 🎂 Maximum Age: 28 Years.
• 📉 Relaxation: SC/ST: +5 Years | OBC (NCL): +3 Years.

⚔️ Selection Procedure

• 📌 Step 1: Document Verification: (09:30 AM to 11:30 AM on reporting date).
• 📌 Step 2: Written Test: Conducted after scrutiny (From 12:00 PM onwards, Duration: 2 Hours).
• 📌 Step 3: Interview: For screened candidates (From 11:30 hrs onwards / or next day).

⚠️ Note: Candidates presently employed in Govt/PSU must produce a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) at the time of the interview.

   • Valid GATE Score Card (2023/24/25).
   • Caste Certificate (if applicable).
   • Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar/PAN).
