To maintain its high standards, Federal Bank has laid down strict parameters regarding educational qualifications, age limits, and domicile. Please read through every point meticulously before initiating the application process.

1️⃣ Educational Qualifications (As strictly mandated)

• Degree Requirement: Candidates must be Graduates from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State legislature in India, or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament, or declared to be Deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, GoI or approved by AICTE.
• Minimum Percentage: Candidates must have a minimum aggregate of 50% or above throughout Class X, Class XII / Diploma, and Graduation.
• Rounding Off Rule: The minimum aggregate percentage prescribed is NOT allowed to be rounded off. For example, a candidate securing 49.99% will NOT be permitted to appear for the selection process.
• Course Duration: The Graduation course must entail a minimum of 3 years of education after completing Higher Secondary schooling (12th) or Diploma.
• Rule for Final Year Students (2025-2026 Batch): Candidates passing out in the academic year 2025-2026 are also eligible to participate. However, they must have cleared ALL papers of previous years/semesters with an aggregate of 50% as on 01.02.2026. They must clear final semester exams in the FIRST CHANCE.

3️⃣ Nationality, Domicile & Other Requirements

• Nationality: Only citizens of India are eligible to apply.
• Place of Domicile: Candidates must be domiciled in the specific States/Union Territories mentioned in the annexure list (Detailed below).
• Language Proficiency: Candidates applying for vacancies in a particular District MUST possess extreme proficiency in the regional language of that District (ability to speak, read, and write).
• Desirable Skill: A valid Indian Driving License (either a two-wheeler or a four-wheeler) is highly desirable for this sales-oriented role.
• No Criminal Record: Candidates applying for the selection process should not have any criminal record.

Federal Bank employs a multi-stage rigorous selection process to identify the best sales talent.

• Group Discussion (GD): The GD round will be conducted virtually through Microsoft Teams. It acts as an elimination stage.
• Aptitude Test & Personal Interview: These rounds will be conducted across various physical centres. Candidates will have to travel to the allotted centres at their own expense.
• Confidentiality: Marks/Ratings secured by candidates during any round will be strictly confidential and will NOT be disclosed to anyone.
• Finality: The decision of the Bank with respect to qualifying criteria in each round will be final and binding.
• Identity Check: If the identity of the candidate is in doubt at any stage, the Bank holds the right to deny participation.

🛡️ Period on Probation & Background Verification

Candidates finally selected as Associate Officer (Sales) will be placed on a Probation period of 1 Year.

Onboarding is strictly subject to: Being declared medically fit by the Bank’s Medical Officer, satisfactory police character and antecedent verification, clear Credit History (CIBIL/Experian scores), and satisfactory reference checks.

*Note: GST at applicable rates (@ 18%) & online transaction charges (if applicable) will be charged extra. The fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Candidates are required to select their TWO preferred Districts during registration. Posting is subject to bank requirement, and the bank reserves the right to deploy anywhere in India. Below is the list of eligible domiciled states and districts:

Candidates are strictly advised to use a Desktop or Laptop for completing the registration process and avoid using mobile phones to prevent errors.

1. Visit Portal: Go to the Bank’s Careers page or directly visit the Zappyhire link provided below.
2. OTP Verification: Enter your valid Email ID and Mobile Number. Click ‘Send OTP’ to validate both.
3. Fill Details: Enter your Personal, Academic, Experience, and other details correctly. (No changes will be entertained later).
4. Upload Files: Upload the Photo, Signature, Resume, and combined Educational PDF exactly as per the specifications mentioned above.
5. Payment: Proceed to the payment gateway. Pay the fee via Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking. Do not press back or refresh during processing.
6. Confirmation: An E-Receipt and a system-generated User ID (Application Ref. Id) will be generated. A confirmation email will also be sent. Receipt of both is mandatory for participation.
