Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 14 of 2025 dated 31.12.2025. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 487 Constable posts in Armed/IRP and SDRF wings of the J&K Police under the Home Department. Candidates must be Domiciles of UT of J&K and possess a Matriculation qualification. 🎓 Educational Qualification & Domicile
1. Essential Qualification:
- ✅ Candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized Board.
2. Domicile Requirement:
- ✅ Candidate must be a Domicile of Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
- ✅ Must possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.
📏 Physical Standard Test (PST)

🏃 Physical Endurance Test (PET)
1. For Male Candidates:
- 🏃 Long Race: 1600 meters in 6½ minutes.
- 💪 Pushups: 20 (one cycle of up and down).
2. For Female Candidates:
- 🏃 Long Race: 1000 meters in 6½ minutes.
- 🏋️♀️ Shot Put (4Kgs): 14 ½ feet in three attempts.
* PET is qualifying in nature.
🎂 Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)
- 🔹 OM / Gen: 18 to 28 Years
- 🔹 SC / ST / RBA / ALC / EWS / OBC: 18 to 28 Years
- 🔹 In-Service Police Personnel: 18 to 30 Years
- 🔹 SPOs / VHGs: 18 to 40 Years
