Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the official notification (Advt. No. 12/2025) for the direct recruitment of Drug Inspectors (Aushadhi Nirikshak) under the Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare Department. There are 30 regular vacancies available. Candidates with a Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology/Microbiology and relevant experience can apply. 🎓 Educational Qualification & Experience
1. Essential Degree:
- ✅ Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences OR
- ✅ Degree in Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology.
2. Mandatory Experience (Any ONE of the following):
- 🔹 Minimum 18 Months experience in the Manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule C; OR
- 🔹 Minimum 18 Months experience in Testing of at least one of the substances in Schedule C in an approved laboratory; OR
- 🔹 Minimum 3 Years experience in the Inspection of firms manufacturing any of the substances specified in Schedule C during tenure as Drug Inspector.
🎂 Age Limit (As on 01.08.2024)
- 👶 Minimum Age: 21 Years
- 🧔 Max Age (UR): 35 Years
- 🧔 Max Age (OBC/BC): 37 Years
- 👩 Max Age (Female – All Cats): 38 Years
- 🧔 Max Age (SC/ST): 40 Years
- 🧔 Max Age (EWS): 35 Years
- ♿ PwD Candidates: Relaxation of 10 Years in respective category.

📝 How to Apply?
Step 1: Online Application
- Visit the website www.jpsc.gov.in.
- Click on “Online Application” for Drug Inspector Advt No. 12/2025.
- Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) if not done.
- Fill the form, upload photos/signatures, and pay the fee.
- Submit and Print the application form.
Step 2: Hard Copy Submission (MANDATORY)
- Take the printout of the submitted application.
- Attach self-attested copies of all certificates (10th, 12th, Degree, Experience, Caste, etc.).
- Write “Application for the Post of Drug Inspector, Advt No. 12/2025” on the envelope.
