| 🚜 Heavy Mobile Equipment Inspection | Inspect a large variety of heavy-duty mobile equipment including combat tanks, large cranes, tank retrievers, fire trucks, bridge transporters, and self-propelled artillery. |
| 🔧 Systems Diagnostics | Inspect complex, interrelated mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical systems while in operation or standby. Test braking, steering, and differential systems integrated with transmissions. |
| 🔍 Advanced Component Testing | Examine large engines powering multiple systems, intricate fuel injection systems, turret stabilization systems, and complex mechanical assemblies. |
| ⚙️ Operational Standards | Ensure all physical and operating characteristics are within acceptable military standards and technical specifications. |
🎓 Eligibility & Qualifications
- ✅ Military Membership: This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service position. You must be a member of the National Guard.
- ✅ Compatible Military Assignment: Selected candidates must be assigned to a compatible military unit and MOS prior to effective date of placement.
- ✅ Specialized Experience: Must have experience diagnosing, repairing, overhauling, and modifying heavy duty vehicles and equipment. Experience must demonstrate the ability to interpret complex technical manuals.
- ✅ Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- ✅ Physical Effort: Ability to work in awkward positions (top, bottom, sides of equipment), stand for long periods, and lift heavy parts.
