• The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined under Article 5 to 9 of the Constitution of India.
• Language Proficiency: The candidate should have good knowledge in English and Hindi language apart from Assamese language, as they will have to communicate frequently with the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.

The CPRD Assam will conduct a highly competitive two-stage selection process. Candidates must clear the OMR-based Written Examination to qualify for the Viva-Voce.

📝 Stage 1: Written Examination Details

• Test Type: Completely OMR based Written Test. Candidates must use a Black Ball Pen to answer.
• Total Questions: 75 Objective Type Questions.
• Total Marks: 75 Marks (1 Mark for each correct answer).
• Duration: 2 (Two) Hours.
• Negative Marking: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Selecting more than one option will also be treated as a wrong answer.

📚 Syllabus Breakdown:

🗣️ Stage 2: Viva-Voce (25 Marks)

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for the Viva-Voce. The shortlisting ratio is 1:1 (i.e., the total number of finally selected candidates called for the Viva will be equal to the number of existing vacancies advertised). The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in both stages.

*Tie-Breaker Rule: In case of a tie in marks, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in the merit list. If dates of birth are also the same, merit will be placed according to higher education.

• Certificate of Computer Proficiency (for Grads). Degree holders in CS/IT can upload their separate Diploma/Degree certificate.
